This mantle is in a home in Highland Green. This was the first house that I finished for Craig Windmiller, back in 2006. The design of the mantle is very ornate, which created the opportunity to use an old world glazing technique. This makes the piece look old, and really shows off the intricate detail of the moldings, and soft lines of the design. I haven't seen another mantle like this since, but this particular home has a very distinctive European feel to it. The entire home is incredibly inviting, and has a very romantic atmosphere.
