Hi! I'm Dan Fox, the owner of Fox Finishing. I started painting professionally, many years ago in Jackson Hole, Wyoming in 1997. My business began with the exterior maintenance of large log homes and progressed to interior finishing, along with many new construction projects. Working in the affluent community of Jackson Hole introduced me to the demands of excellent craftsmanship along with amazing architectural designs and interior decor. This was a great environment to learn about design, and see firsthand the work of talented professionals. After living in Wyoming for 13 years, I moved my family to the Quad City area in 2005. We settled in Viola, IL which is about 30 minutes south of the Quad Cities. We live out in the countryside and really enjoy our life here, with most of our clientele being located in the Quad Cities.

After moving to the Quad Cities, I began a transition from the typical new construction projects I worked on in Jackson to refinishing homes with an emphasis on cabinet refinishing. These projects presented the opportunity to connect with clients at a deeper level & guide them through design decisions concerning their own home, which I found deeply rewarding.

I have said repeatedly that at the end of each project, my goal is more than just to provide a refinished kitchen or built-in. My goal is to make a new friend & provide a level of excellent service that my clients would be eager to refer on to their own family & friends!
