This table was a commission piece for a family in Copper Ridge-Bettendorf, IA. The clients wanted a table that was rustic, and large enough to seat 10 comfortably. We started with some basic ideas and worked closely with them to achieve a finished design that they really love. This project was a collaboration of Fox Finishing and Jim King of Moonville Timber. While Dan and Jim worked together on the design of the table, Jim was responsible for the construction and Dan provided the finishing details. The wood for this table came from a salvaged Walnut tree from East Moline, IL and was supplied by Eric Anderson of Viola, IL. The steel trestle was custom fabricated by Boyler's Ornamental Iron of Bettendorf.
